Posting for a friend, He went to redbox and rented the dark knight. He is not able to rip it to his computer like he used to, and thinks it is because of new security features that he is unable to do so. Can anyone reccomend some software or other ideas as to how he can get this to rip?

Run AnyDVD in the background and then use your dvd ripping program…should work
or you could just torrent the dvd rip of it…

ANYDVD interrupts the weird copy protection that they have on the new dvd’s so that your ripper can decode it and rip it.

dvd shrink works good
dvd shrink works well but it doesn’t remove the copy protection. AnyDVD runs in the background and does just this.
Jesus this thread has to be posted like a billion times on how to rip a movie.
Well either way, DVDFab for Windows, Handbrake for Mac. Or just torrent the DVD (if you have a good connection that would be faster anyways).
