Road Racing local related shops/stores/etc...

All my info, shopping, etc… has been kind of state-side… so what the hell, I hope to begin being more involved on track this summer… so I need local parts/info/etc… don’t want to keep buying stuff cross-border… plus it’d be nice for once to give something to the community that’s growing here. I guess this WOULD be useful for alot of people who track or will track their cars on son240…

Could be made a sticky I suppose?

My first find this morning:

RALLYSPORT based out of Calgary:
http://www.rallysport.ca/index.htm

Not Ontario… but it’s still Canada… Lots of goodies rally, road racing, etc… related.

CAN ALIGNMENT
http://www.canalignment.com/

Milton… most already know about can alignment but thought I’d throw it in. I’ve done my alignment at a friend’s garage, but I’ll have to pass by this guy (plus my friend and I don’t know how to corner balance lol)

SG-Motorsports
http://sg-motorsport.com

Only went to him once, let him drive my car like hell, haha… got me excited to want to improve my own driving, but proved the car was good  No need for introductions, since everyone knows Sasha, cool guy.

JRP Performance
http://www.jrponline.com/

It’s super local, Oakville/Mississauga so I thought I’d throw it on here. I would call this shop a bit home boy racer rather than road racing oriented, they have mixed range of pricings (some too high some okay), but they do have some goodies most would appreciate. Seats, fluids/oils, lugnuts, racing clothing/shoes, etc…

PDM-RACING
www.pdm-racing.com

Well, Don has a bad ass SM car, however his prices are over the top, but I thought I’d share his site, he is s chassis oriented so there’s a good bit of info/parts on there, he is in BC. For my first car rebuild pretty much all parts I got from him… He’d be far more useful for Vancouver guys who need custom work and what have you. Kind of how Sasha builds exhausts, piping, etc… they do custom-fab too.

CASC - Canadian Automobile Sports Club Ontario Region
http://www.casc.on.ca/
http://www.casc.on.ca/forums

Well, I spent alot of time reading NASA and SCCA state-side forums, I guess I should read more on here haha… useful for part sales too (eg; R comp, tires etc… never know what you’ll find or learn)

CCTCC - Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championships
http://www.touringcar.ca/

Not much needs to be said, Sasha was champ in this racing series in 2006. Really cool and worth checking out.

Ontario Race Fabrication (ORF)
http://www.turbo240sx.ca/

ADAM’s site  First guy with LS1 v8 in a 240sx in Ontario, beat me to it :stuck_out_tongue: Super mega hyper awesome car  Fab work amongst many other things available through his work. Hauls ass at mosport.

Pure Sport Racing
http://www.puresportracing.ca/

Just found this while browsing CASC, racing-wear + racing-gear, etc… local

CSC Racing
http://www.cscracing.com/ci.html

Local Chassis/Cage work guys

Hotbits
http://www.hotbits.ca/

One of the few people in Ontario with a shock dyno. They build some nice cars, suspension bits, and are involved in several racing series including the newfoundland targa rally which I oh so love and dream of participating in

Anything else that comes to mind… post away

http://www.cscracing.com/ci.html

ive used a place in newmarket called ES AUTOMOTIVE they are primarly a drag racing shop but do amazing work and fair labour costs. had my coilovers done here on my 240

I was just going to add in cscracing  Thanks tosh!

Imageinmotion.com from bc, ive bought a lot of stuff from these guys and peter and andrew have always treated me well and are good on shipping… Justcall them on their toll free # and tell them you know eric murray from nb and you’ll be good,

that’s a super duper list

but

we have companies who support our club and one of the benefits of doing that is they get the sole right to advertise

so it wouldn’t be fair to them to keep this, especially as a sticky. dig?

Yeah it’s not a sale or advert lol… rather a list to help people including myself as to me local stuff is kind of unknown… there are alot of specialists, stores, organizations, etc… locally just they are more oriented towards other cars hence unknown to me/others, but still useful… well up to you if you wana sticky or not, i thought it’d be quite useful for myself and for people… already spotted a few of these places and what ill wana get (when the money is right)… JRP for example was the first place locally i found with racing seats.

Simone Performance Alignments in Newmarket.

Amazing guy ex Nissan tech, works purely on 300zx’s and 240’s. Incredible suspension work.
