Roclife Summer BBQ 2012 – June 24th – Mendon Ponds Park

Not sure if anyone has any interest in cruising out to Rochester especially since the WNYFbody BBQ is the same day but I thought I’d throw it out there just in case.

When: Sunday June 24th
Where: Mendon Ponds Beach Parking Lot /Canfieldwoods Pavilion
Time: 12pm – Whenever
Bring: Food, Beer, Chairs, Grilling stuff

After many years of talking about it we are going to do a Roclife Summer BBQ on Sunday June 24th. The location will be the big beach parking lot at Mendon Ponds Park and we are going to start at 2pm. Since this is going to be informal I think everybody should bring something like food, beer and grilling stuff etc (this has worked out well in the past for Rocdubs).

Also I shouldn’t have to say this but no asshatery. As much as I love heaters and other stupid shit just like the next person this is not the time or place. I can almost guarantee it will result in a call to MCS which will get us kicked out or banned from the park.

With that said the parking lot location is within the yellow box. I have an attendee list that I will update below. Also feel free to suggest anything I forgot.

Yeah man I’m sure people would like to check out the Mustang. As long as the weather stays decent I have a feeling its going to be bigger than the attendee list. People that aren’t really on the site or don’t post much will probably find out about it and I know the people that committed to going are planning to bring girlfriends and wives etc.

Bump, not that I expect anyone to come because the wnyfbody bbq is the same day but I thought I’d mention that the date was changed to the 24th instead of the 23rd. Was the only day we could rent the pavilion.
