Romatic Restraunts

What do you guys think would be a good place to take my g.f. to on saturday the 13th? I saw Isabela on Grandview but I think Ill save that for another time. Price is really no factor nor is location as long as we can get there by cab.

Georgetowne inn on mt wash… not too pricey, awesome view, great food.

Coal Hill Steak house. Right next to georgetown inn. Second best steaks in the city next to Ruth’s Chris. Pete is the Head Chef there. Highly recommended.

capital grille downtown. If you really want to impress her go ahead of time and buy a wine locker =P

For romantic, the hyeholde is a pretty good choice

If you prefer the Mt Washington view, then Monteray Bay is a good choice

I just heard of another place on Mt. Washington the other day, something like LeMounte or something. Hows that?

I took my parents to the Le Mont a couple of months ago. It was nice, view was spectacular, prices were pretty high. It’s the quintessential place to go on Mt. Washington… but there are now a lot of other nice places up there too and everyone swears by one of them. I haven’t been, but I’ve heard a lot of nice things about the Georgetown Inn.

:dunno:

Lemont is a ton. i spent $200 for the 2 of us. Im hitting the Melting Pot tonight in station Square. its a cool place.

I’ve been to Monteray Bay and Bella Vista on Mt. Washington. If you enjoy fish and the best view in town then Monteray Bay is tits. Bella Vista is a more personal small upscale Italian eatery cliff side on Mt. Washington.

Sweet I was just gonna ask about Monteray, the menu looks pretty sweet. And as far as Ruths Chris and Capital Grille we’ve got all those chain places in town so Id like to stick to something different.

im still saying georgetown inn

Monteray Bay has a great location and great view but I always leave there Hungry and still spend $200 for 2. I stopped going there for that reason. Georgetown Inn is good, Bella Vista is great as well. they all have great Views. I would avoid the Le Mont… Food is only ok and the prices are the most expensive on the Mt. Tin Angel is pretty good as well. But my money is on Coal Hill Steak house/Grandview Saloon.

Georgetown is the most “cost-effective.” I’ve taken a few out of towners there that really enjoyed it. The cost is really what made my decision for me since we’ve always had a good time there and paying for 8 people at these places, the difference can really add up…

Take me, I’m an out of towner.

My recommendation for Mt. Washington would be Bella Vista. Nice small Italian place with an intimate feel. Ask for a seat by the glass and I think it has an awesome view without being crowded and noisy like some of those places.

buy a pool from me?
