RSX-S vs New Si vs Accord V6

shopping for a new DD and looking to possibly move into my first honda…also looking into moving down south so AWD is no longer a necessity

RSX-S : was looking at 02’s and 03’s…pretty cheap for the lack of age, OUTSTANDING interior (i love the leather corbeaus)

New Si : just a great car with a great price…but better than an older RSX for more money?

Accord V6 : 04 or 05…bit higher priced than the RSX, but less than the new Si, plus 2 door coupe plus leather is always stylish

which would you rock? trying to stay under 20K…other inputs welcome as well…

RSX all the way out of that list. the new Si isnt very attractive in from the back or sides, or the interior for that matter IMO. it needs work. the accord is a nice car, but overall looks and performance is <that of the RSX.

the rsx has been a great daily for me so far. the lack of low end can be annoying at times though. a few dash rattles have popped up too. i probably overpaid a bit for it, but got it certified used through ray laks with 30k on it. fully warrentied until 2008 :slight_smile:

if you want a honda, and are moving down south.

get a S2000. i think thats it…

i really liked the 4 door si concept that someone posted, i believe that is scheduled to be released in 2007 maybe?? anyone know about this?

New Si for under 20 may not be possible for a while.

In some areas (other states) they are going as high as 28k :ham:

Stupid if you ask me, BUT if you can find one at sticker, that would be my vote.

I may be wrong, someone correct me if I am. :dunno:

The new accords are so freakin’ nice…

my next DD would probably be either : accord v6 hybrid

or

Toyota Rav4 with the NASTY v6 - those things are stupid fast.

I don’t dislike honda, but I dislike Civics. They haven’t looked good since '95.

I’d have to go with the Ack V6 and a 6 speed manual.

One of the guys I work with just bought a brand new Accord sedan with a 6 speed. It is very very nice. Black on black and pretty quick from what he tells me. I want it.

all three are awesome…but since you’re considering a daily driver…which i would assume would be for summer as well as winter…and not just a beater…get the rsx-s…nice to have two cool cars in the summer
