Oddly enough, the laptimes that were quoted for the new z06 on “run flats” is bull shit from what I’ve been hearing from some insiders in Detroit. I’ve heard it was more towards the DOT R end of the spectrum.

It is funny you say that because I have been a Porsche guy for many, many years and Porsche guys crinch whenever they make even a slight change in the looks of the 911.
That is the beauty of the car, NOT ONE other car has retained its looks like the 911 has.

Yep, that’s correct, RUF needed a Green show car, and it was a customer car (Yellow actually IIRC). So they vinyled it up perfectly in green.

I’m talking about the GT3 not having a delete option for the hole in the roof, not having the Euro seats, now having the ROW suspension, the RS not having the Euro seats, ROW suspension, lexan windows, and ROW exhaust. I’m talking about PCNA being a money making machine and no longer the “we sell race cars for the street” company they once were. EVEN ON THE GT/RACE CAR MODELS.
