So I decided to pick up this Muzzlelite Bullpup conversion stock for my ruger mini-14.
For those of you who don’t know what the bullpup style is…
Basically, it tremendously reduces the overall length of the rifle without actually shortening the barrel. In this case, it is now 26 1/2" long. This provides a weapon of much greater mobility while maintaining the accuracy of a long rifle.
The instructions that came with this were absolute garbage. I’ve packed a lot of personal experience working with firearms over the years, so I decided to go at it with what they gave me.
It was simple… I’d say the entire process took roughly 20 minutes.
I’m not overly impressed with the fitment, as there is a tiny bit of play inside the stock. Meaning, the barrel actually wiggles a very minute amount. Regardless, I will be fabricating the stock tomorrow to resolve this issue.
There isn’t much more to say. I took some pictures of the process. It may look like i skipped a whole bunch, but it actually just snapped together that quickly.
that’s it! After I am satisfied that I have fixed the fitment issue, I’ll go out and try it out.
i was thinkin of doing one of these. lemme know how it works out for you.

I will followup as soon as I have time to go out and fire it.
Also, it would really blow to shoot this as a lefty… The bolt would probably smack your cheek and you would get hot brass in your mouth…
It came with a pretty good scope mount, dovetail style. I’m going to slap a red dot on it for now.
The balance on this thing is great now… can hold it steady with just one arm… I’m excited to make a cantaloupe my bitch
Yeah kinda. I’m going to remove the stock iron sight on the barrel and put on a flash suppressor. Maybe a bottom mount tactical lighting system. God i miss playing with the m16-a4…
…anyone have an ar-15 they wanna get rid of?? :snky:
