ok so i need some help now. what i need to get done is put the 1995 kade into my 1990 s13. i have got some basic information. so if u guys got help giver. here goes…
the power steering. i dont think will an issue. cause my 90 dont have hicas and niether did the 95. just relocate the res. put heater hoses on b4 engine is fully mounted. the 90sohc tranny will mount up to the dohc. the exaust manifold i belive will mount up no issues? the coil needs to come off s14 and go into s13. gas lines are same. not going to run ac. the main thing im going to have issues i think is wiring, and i learned that u just cut off at the plug near the ecu on the s13. then cut off a good portion of the s14s wiring connector then connect them color coding and thats it for wiring?? is there anything i can possibly be missing?? please any info at all
S14 distributor has an internal coil vs the S13’s external.
Best way is to run an S13 distributor, wiring harness and ECU. Though the wiring can be done to the S14 harness to use the whole thing in an S13… if you know a thing or two about wiring and aren’t scared to rip both harnesses apart.
im definatly not scared about tackling wiring job. by any means. and this is happening tommorow or sunday.here is the thing. i own a 1991 dohc that i can pull the harness from. now what about the dizzy? ihave to change the 95’s dohc dizzy with my 91 dohc? and sooo if im running a 1991 harness, 1995 motor in a 1990 s13 everything should go good?
