you won’t be able to fit the crank angle sensor because there’s no hole for it on top of the s13 tranny bellhousing… you’ll get the check-engine light, but everything should work properly.
What year is your s14? If its 95 or 96 dont worry about the crank angle sensor on the top of the tranny. If your 97 or 98 then you have to drill a hole for one. tecnically without the CAS sensor your car shouldnt even crank. But again if your 95 or 96 you dont need it and no check engine light should appear. I think this is because in either 97 or 98 nissan looked over the motor and trans and made some small adjustments to them including the CAS sensor and different cams.
it’s a 98. so what your telling me is i need the transmittion is i am going to be running a s14 motor?
