I have had it done for a while but nobody had a good way to hold them in properly do i fugured it out and have some pictures.
I used a piece of alum for the edge of a stair case for a home. Just somthing lying around will be fine. You have to drill holes for the bolts that come out the back of the gauge.
I had to cut notches so there was still room to disassemble the fittings on the back of the gauges.
Here is where that piece will fit agenst right where I am pointing my magnet pen.
Here is that piece attached to the gauges. You see rubber pieces that I cut out. If you do this mod you will see why you have to do this to make the gauges fit snug.
I want oil temp too. Very important. Im seting up a small oilcooler to help that out so I might do a thread on that too. Very cheap.
Im guessing this mod will take about an hour to do. You need a drill, drill bits, die grinding bit so you can fine finish the holes in that piece for the lights to go, exacto knife for rubber or whatever you use and I used a bench grinder to grind those divits in that piece for more space for the fittings on the back.
