hi people

Does anyone know how hard it is to change a waterpump on my sr20det?
I’m having an overheating problem and by process of elimination I want to change my waterpump, i upgraded my rad already. I don’t have the tools or technical know how but want to try and tackle it.

How much apprx. would a shop charge to replace my waterpump? Just in case i fail in my quest…

very very easy…takes longer to bleed the cooling system then change the pump ! just look at the pump, and remove its 5-6 bolts and it will fall off…

The problem is not in your waterpump Steve. I would get your coolant system flushed out and maybe throw in a brand new thermostat!
