Fins are slightly chipped but the turbo spins fine, makes and holds boost as it should. Comes with S14 actuator @ 5psi
The compressor side oil seal is gone and needs replacing
Looking for 280$

FYI,
S14 ball bearing turbo’s are NOT rebuildable. CHRA need to be replaced.
interesting… because i know of a person who has had a S14 Turbo rebuilt and it was totaly fucked… as in Seized. and the bearing housing was fucked and had to be replace.
And it works awsome.
for sure they are rebuildable, it just takes a professional to do it, unlike t25’s which some ppl can redo at home with the right tools.
If you call replacing the center section housing (with turbine and compressor blades) as rebuild. Then it’s a rebuild.
It was a total rebuilt i was simply stating the larger things that had been done. And the point being it can be done. and i can provide the number of the place that did it.
anything can be rebuilt
but BB turbos are more difficult and more expensive to have done.
all it needs is the compressor seal and possibly a new compressor wheel if you care that much.
The bearing casing shouldn’t affect chaningthe compressor seals.
I checked out this turbo a few days ago, defenatly a steal at $280…
Would this fit on a stock motor, or its purely for the sr20det??
It can fit any motor - the exhaust manifold just needs to be flanged T2
the s14 never came with a ball bearing turbo, it was a non ball bearing t28, where as the s15 came with a ball bearing version of the t28
The S14 and S15 T28’s are both equiped with a ball bearing centre section. You are probably getting confused with some of the Aussie spec cars that came with wet bearing centre sections. Please try researching your info a little bit before you make a post containing bad information.
Just so no one gets any ideas… its mine 8)
