HEy just took off my valve cover and theres alot of like build up its not like think but more a thing film of dark oil everywhere anyone suggest anything or should i just leave it? i cleaned the valve cover already but the actuall inside part? should i leave it?

There is no need to clean that inside extensively since if it had a black film on it that is what will likely happen when you pop it back on. I washed the whole thing down with car soap so most of the oil came right off. Just make sure it doesn’t have dust etc stuck to it from it sitting outside when you are installing it again.
kk thanks man!! where can you get replacement gromets for all around the valve cover? or should i just re use old ones
