M3 is probably A LOT faster too. Not sure if the years and mileage match up, but the Z3/Z4 would be a competitor. As well as the 350z Roadster.
For 20-something thousand dollars, I can get a decent mileage C5 Z06 and have a lot more fun. There’s nothing cool about being stopped at a red light with the top down.
if you can get a solid example for .33 Becks you’re in good shape.
I bought my 01 with 98k miles for 9200$. Had to put a few $ into it , so let’s say 9500$. It books privately for 10,600$, and retail at a dealer is 13.5k
My friend had an 00 or 01, has like 30k miles on it, he traded it into the dealer for 13k i think. they are selling it for over 18k. The dealer will rape you.

I disagree, anytime the top is down is nice.
I decided screw it unless a really good deal falls onto my lap. I pick bad cars to be interested in; SRT4 & s2000 - both known to be raped by previous owners.
Any used performance car has this reputation.
S2000 is a great car, its a shame its at prices a highschool kid can afford which means more and more are getting abused/neglected
This may seem dumb, but can you daily drive a s2000? (In Buffalo). I am looking for a new car and i’ve narrowed it down to about 5 cars, one of them being an s2000
Daily drive all year? Sure. Would i want to? No. There’s not a lot of trunk room for anything, and lack of storage in the cabin. if they would of put a dash glove-box it would have been fine. Also the A/C adapter is super inconvienent, and the cup holder location sucks.

The cup holder BLOWS! It is nearly impossible to drive with any sized cup in there.
13g’s over my “What I spend on a s2000” budget. Took long enough to find my adult owned SRT4, I don’t feel like going through the same crap. Not to mention most Honda owners think they’re selling the cure for cancer.

That thing is pretty overpriced IMO. Yes it has a nice turbo kit and some nice hp numbers but the chasis still has well over 100,000 miles on it.
