s2000 value?

I sold mine (one in the sig) last year for a good penny with over 113k on it. I kept it clean and a summer driver. I got a better offer because it went to Toronto, so to the buyer it saved him money

Cup holder don’t bug me, as long as a medium tim hortons cup fits, and the cup holder in my current car is almost as bad as it gets

Supply and demand. Funny everyone says over priced yet I’ve already come across 5 people on here that are “looking to get one” So being that this forum has 5, they stopped making the car, their are so many available for purchase while others are being stored or held on too… along with people totalling them out. Yeah, seems like something that shouldnt hold value. lol Not to mention it’s one of Honda’s best production cars to date… but who is looking into that.

I’d buy one in a second if I could justify using it all year…but it’s hard to…

some cars go back up in value when supply of good examples dries up. Take the E30 M3 for example. They were selling for $9k back in 1999, today they are 20-30k. The reason is simple, as soon as the whole pool is enthusiast owned prices go up as long as there is demand. I don’t think s2k will go up like the E30 M3 did because of production numbers, but it won’t go much below 10 ever for clean ones.

also, AP2 > AP1 that extra torque makes is so much better on the street.

I drove mine last “winter” and it was a beast. As long as you have good snow tires you should be fine. I was also lowered and no sand bags in the trunk. I would act as a snow plow half the time but never once got stuck.

I’m now interested in the Lexus IS300. Can def score a decent one for 10k.

Tired of FWD, I wanna do heaters.

If your budget for an s2k was 10k or less expect it to be beat shit. You will spend more rebuilding, unricing, and catching up on maintenance than if you add a bit to your budget and hunt out a good deal. Just my $.02

Not true in all cases. I sold my 01 with 9x,000 miles for 9,400 and it was in pretty good shape and not beat to shit. If you wait to find the right deal you will be good to go.

need to make a meme: wants to buy a cheap s2000…waits until spring to buy.

Got mine in spring for just under 14k. First year imported (2000) and only had 33k miles. Car was bone stock.

Lol

it is said that the AP2 is the women’s version of the AP1

After the comment about the AP2 being the car people want… I kind of chuckled. I always have ap2 guys telling me they want the ap1 because of the 9k redline.

 at Honda idiots debating 8k vs 9k redline

Tell me what my 2000 with 28k on it is worth…and it might be yours

As much as I keep thinking im going to sell mine…I probably wont. I love that car too much. Yea its not he fastest, I know that. But 222whp, 6 speed, redline at 9K, comfortable enough for long cruises, handles nicely, power top when I want and gets 33mpg…what more could you ask for

well, maybe more HP :stuck_out_tongue:

is the plastic rear window really that shitty?

I am not a fan. I just used Mothers plasitc polish to make it able to see through. Problem with the Plastic window is that when its cold out and you want to put the top down (the heat is ridiculously amazing in this car) You find when you put the window back up, it can crack the plastic from the cold. Glass ftw.

I’ll be replacing the roof within the next year or 2.

Like stated. Awesome stock handling, really comfortable car, fastest production electric convertable, great on gas (I average 27mpg), RWD, 240hp out of a 2.0lter 4cylinder engine. Not to mention the reliability that the Honda Vtec engine has.

Yea I hate my plastic window. eventually I will go glass
02 / 03 is a good yr. I went 2000 because I wanted the 1st yr of production. Plus it had low miles.

Im slowly making mine look like an AP2…but keeping the 9K
