Well for those who do not know… In September I purchased this:
Powered by this:
It’s a 92 Lexus Sc300 from TN, rust free, a couple scrapes and a dent as pictured (Could care less right now). It has a 2jzgte vvti swap from an Aristo, R154 5spd trans, Soarer rear end w/ lsd, Precision 6765 etc…etc…
It’s tuned by Forged Motorsports and makes 550rwhp on 93.
My plan is to leave it alone power wise. The car is more than enough for me lol. On the other hand, it’s very ugly the way it sits now. So this thread will be a log of her journey to please my eyes.
The last 2 days were nice and warm so I decided to get out to the garage.
First off, the front end needed a lip. So I decided to go with a 92-96 factory Sc400 lip. This was hard to get a hold of but eventually I found one.
Next, those tail lights are ugly as fuck. SO I purchased 95-96 tails for her.
I also thought the spoiler currently on the trunk was gross. So I purchased a whole new trunk with the factory sc/soarer spoiler on it. Also the Lexus badges on the new trunk are gold BLING BLING
Some photos of that process:
The plate lights were also not in the sockets so I had to dig those out because the previous owner tucked them up in there with no bulbs? OK!
The back bumper is a pain to get off.
Done:
Now it was time to remove the suspension and make way for coilovers. The car was currently on eibachs and Supra Biltsteins. Great ride but I need more LOW. tehe
Suspension is out, the coilovers will be here soon and this is where I leave you for now.
Basically after that is done next steps are:
1.) CF Rear window spoiler, this should be here next week. Damn back order
2.) Varrstoen TE reps - 18x9.5 +12 fronts, 18x10.5 +15 rears
3.) Sparco seats and harnesses which I scored off my Dad, hell yeah.
4.) Some sort of dirty steering wheel
5.) Yellow out the turning lamps
6.) Some obnoxious/ offensive stickers
7.) Heaters, lots of them.
