Saxon's B8 S4

car looks absolutely gorgeous! been looking at picking one up myself

for an all around “sleeper” daily driver they are fantastic. i averaged 29mpg on my trip to the US Open in north carolina and back, the performance is great with the sports differential and even with the ohlins it rides great!

parts list for people who are interested:
ecs boost tap- signal for the progressive meth controller and also for the boost gauge
cooling mist cmgs progressive controller/boost gauge- i really like this because it serves 2 purposes in one nice convenient package
devils own- the rest of the parts are devils own and they were really great to deal with, very knowledgeable and fast shipping! i dealt with Leroy

2.25 gallon sumped tank
300psi pump
dual nozzle fitting
2 d04 nozzle (an extra spare d03 if two d04’s if too much)
300psi solenoid-prevents siphoning under vacuum, or if your tank is mounted higher than the nozzle.
float switch- self sealing to prevent running out of meth
low profile nozzle holders for a more discrete install
devils own 50/50 brew, we are going to try this at first and may mix in more meth if needed to reach desired timing
plan on getting everything installed the 25th of July and having Tony from EPL tuning it August 1st

Meth is installed and functioning

Tune this friday!

Since you have had this for a while, have you had any issues? I am assuming this is your dd.

Where did you mount the meth nozzles? Just curious as I did see an install with a sandwich plate that went under the supercharger, but there was issues with the temp sensor location and not being able to take full advantage of the meth it seemed. I am also surprised that more guys are not running it actually.

Looking forward to hearing more about your isntall, results and numbers.

I installed 2 nozzles into the roc euro intake. Didn’t want to mess with iat sensors with the sandwich plate

I drive it a couple days a week (prius is true dd) put 20,000 miles on it in a year and only problem I had was faulty hood sensor and a rattle in the door

This generation is very reliable

“reliable” at 20k. :fu:

finally have some pictures, waiting on the dyno sheet from EPL, it baselined at 380 there and ended up picking up 30whp on meth making 410whp

a couple new pictures, i now have an rs grille without the license plate frame and i got rid of the apr exhaust for the awe (resonated for now)

hoping to hit the track soon to hit some 11’s

awesome.

this car looks REALLLLLLY good

Where did you pick up the RS grille?

thanks!

 thanks!

ecs tuning, i had the rs grille this whole time but it had the euro plate holder integrated into it

I like the grille with your front bumper very much

Typically I don’t like red, but this loons great in red.

Love it…

bought 5 gallons of sunoco methanol today, i think im going to play around with methanol mixtures to try and get as much timing as possible

update, found out something was wrong with the methanol tune from epl and got pissed off so i went and got the apr tune thinking i would gain power like all the idiots on the audizine forums said i would

so here are the results, same dyno but different day-- apr stage 2 is solid and epl stage 2 is dotted

then i decided to have some fun with the apr 104 octane tune… 50/50 mix of e85 and 440cc of methanol injection
