Don’t know if anyone is in the business but I am trying to educate myself on a good camera system for a business. Need good video decent-good quality for sure I doubt HD is in the budget but it might be worth entertaining the idea just for the sake of learning about it.
want 8 cameras 5 indoor 3 out door. outdoor needs low light capability. Will need a DVR.
Is there any systems to stay away from or that I should be looking at?

How is the video quality?
Is this for home or business use? I work for a company in Rochester that sells/supports HUGE systems (RIT, Monroe County, etc) and much smaller systems (mom n pop shops, local chains). DigiOp is what we use for the smaller systems, and we use Lenel systems for the larger stuff.
video quality is pretty good IMO.
I can see someones face at the front door cam, the “roof” cam picks up people walking and or driving by but cant pick up a plate of a moving car. It does the job for what I need it to do
If I had $650 to blow…lol Id buy this
