Police say Scerbo was driving recklessly, speeding up and passing Megan’s car, then slowing down and doing wheelies.
Police say Scerbo began to pass Megan’s car on the right shoulder of the road when he struck Heather Boyum, who had been riding her bicycle northbound on the right shoulder, throwing her off her bike.
Witnesses say she struck the roadway and was then run over by Merkel’s car.
Merkel was arrested at the scene for DWI.

This. I am sickened and shocked by the lack of a conscious and regret. Fuck these people. Just like the Colorado shooter this makes me want public justice. Put these fuckers in the center of town in the stocks for three days, if they survive, ok; if not, ok. Unfortunately I also heavily believe in a fair trial and I just hope that they lay the charges on thick and the prosecution makes them live a life that is not worth living for the rest of their days.
The State Department of Corrections confirms that Scerbo was released from the Moriah Correctional Facility just three weeks ago. Scerbo had served eight months at the facility, located south of Plattsburgh near the Vermont border.
Deputies say Scerbo was following his girlfriend, 23-year old Megan Merkel, on Route 250 in Webster Sunday morning. Investigators say Scerbo was riding motorcycle recklessly, and when he tried to pass Merkel on the shoulder, he hit 40-year-old Heather Boyum. Boyum, who was riding her bicycle, landed on the road, where deputies say she was then run over by Merkel’s car.
Deputies say Merkel tried to leave the scene, and was later charged with DWI.
This kid sounds like a real winner. I went to Fairport and I think I remember her. She was Miss Frazer I think back in the early 2000’s.

The girlfriend is now apologizing, and deleted her Facebook page. Probably a little late for that as screenshots are all over the place. Both of them have criminal records a mile long. The system clearly failed here. He’s on his 3rd DWI, neither had a drivers license, etc etc. Fucking scumbags.
See, the real problem is that these scumbags were even allowed back within the general population after how badly theyve already fucked up. I hold the judges, and P.O.s just as accountable for this shit. How many chances does one need to show that they are a fuck up and dont belong with the rest of society before they kill someone. I guess it didn’t work. This kid’s been given chance after chance and now an innocent person is dead because he won’t take responsibility for himself. Life in prison should be his future.
