most service centers are harping on multipoint inspections now. It’s a big thing at the dealership I work at they want the techs to look over everything on every car we bring in to try and find additional required work. The arguements for and against it have been made, either which way thats probably why they put it on a rack.
Also Mike the guy could have just stuck a small prybar in between the caliper, pad and rotor and partially returned the caliper to make sure it wasn’t fucked before writing it up for brakes. Still a dumbass for not pumping them, but I don’t believe that would qualify as disassembly.
