Hello.
I have a question about the mounting of seat rails in an S13. Is it possible to mount them farther backbthan the stock location? I’m aware this would require removal of the the rear seats, but since I plan to anyway, that is no loss. If anyone had any information on this subject, I would be very appreciative.
Thanks

Bump. Please people, any help at all.
Sure, it’s your car you can mount the seat rail anywhere you like. I don’t have a clue why you’d need to move the seat back far enough to remove the rear seat though. I’m 6’3" and I don’t even have my stock seat moved all the way back in my S13.
lets just leave it at i dont fit, thanks for answering my question, now another question how hard is it to mount the rails back farther?

Well the mounts that are on the floor boards of the car stick out the bottom of the car. So to move those back a bit, its gonna take cutting and welding. I’m sure if you took off your complete seat and tried to move the slider back it would be much easier than taking it out of the floor boards. It would be a matter of drilling new holes on the seat for the slider. I have not done this. it seems like alot of work for an inch or 2?? When i put my seat all the way back theres only like a couple inches that it could go back more!!
