Step 1.) Get out of debt

Step 2.) Get through school

Step 3.) Benefit from steps 1&2 for the next 40-60 years.

Step 1.) Keep the R/t and/or get a 2500 Diesel

Step 2.) Spend the next 4 years scrounging up gas money because You are paying $600 / month (insurance & note) to a vehicle that You will not get full usage out of (what do You need to daily drive a 3/4 ton truck for?) on part time money while being a full time student.

Step 3.) Graduate school with a fair bit of educational debt & HOPEFULLY get a decent job (assuming You’re staying local)

Step 4.) When the decent jobs aren’t beating a path to Your door, Live in said truck.
