Selling a car with a new cluster v. odometer wrong

When I bought my old GTI apparently the cluster was bad and the place I got it from had it replaced. They of course disclosed this to me and I signed this form saying I was aware of the real milage etc. I have this little sticker in the door jamb that has the date of replacement and the milage. I also have the original forms etc.

So my question is now that Im selling it what do I do on the back of the title?

Put the TOTAL milage from when the cluster was replaced and whats on the new one and check the actual milage box?

or

Put the mileage shown in the cluster and check the incorrect odometer box?

Thanks,

Dan

usually u would do the actual mileage

If it’s more than 100,000 miles I don’t think it matters on the tittle

Ya, I ended up just putting the total milage on there. And yes, over 100k it doesnt matter anyway.

Dan

mileage has nothing to do with it. in nys it goes by age. 10 years or older any registered vehicle comes back mileage exempt no matter if its actual or tmu
