Sending text messages via web to cell phones

Just curious on saving some $$$ in text messages. Is there a way to send and receive text messages that would normally go through your phone via browser? Anyone ever try this?

Yes most carrier websites have a link…

Just get a plan with unlimited txts…Im glad I don’t own a Viper and have to come up with new a creative ways to save $$$…

always been curious about it… but figured since you can’t receive them as easily as sending them, I never bothered with it.

hmmmm what if the customer is Canadian and they have rogers?

keep in mind if you or your friends are banking on unlimited vzw to vzw texting (or att to att), that goes out the window when you starting using the websites. yes, YOU are not paying for it, but now you are quickly going through their allotment, if they have one. not to mention replying is a bitch.
