I don’t understand this. It takes no effort at all to check up on your usage, slightly more effort to change your plan to one that covers increased usage.
Personally, I’d be kind of embarrassed to post ridiculous cell bills.

call them and say your kid did it and you were unaware of the charges and that you want to set up a plan…most of the time they will work with you
