I got a 89 240, and i am instaling a in tank walbro pump. I was wondering which line on the top of the sending unit is the feed and which is the return. I took out my external pump a while ago and i was waiting on the walbro one. I dont remember which one is which. Like is the left side the feed or is the right side the feed?

just guess… if your car starts you did it right… if not, then switch em.

it will likely start either wya thats not exactly the best way to figure it out
your best bet is to just pull the pump and check again to remember, but eithe rway the lines are orientated a certain way that they really only fit well one way.
it’s not uncommon for people to accidentaly hook up the fuel lines backwards at the fuel rail and not realize it until the car won’t start.
don’t worry… you won’t cause any damage if you get it wrong.
I had a out of tank pump before, so the lines aren’t exactly where they are suppose to be lol.
