While a lot of good points are being made here we must rememeber one thing based on what our governments modern values are:
Native Americans were here first and regardless of any excuse we can make, we did rape them of thier land and call all of North America ours.
In the end its not crazy to say they are entitled to the benefit of the doubt when it comes to regulation of taxes, land ect. being that if we did not come in and take over thier land that they would not be worrying about any of this.
The key point here is based on our governments modern values.
The same applies to the slavery thing… while its clear some people seek to take advantage of “reperations,” we as a white majority were wrong based on modern values… and nothing will ever repay what has been done.
Idk thats just throwing in a different point of view although I dont even know where my stance is on all of this
