thanks I will have to check into it… I just got this car last month and there is so much that I would like to do to it 1 make it alot faster than what it is…If I were to do a motor swap in it I can put any vw motor into it right it will bolt up correct I have been told yes and no… would u be able to tell me I was thinking abt putting a newer year GTI motor into it… or is there a better motor othere that a GTI that i should use… I want it to be quick… PLEASE HELP…Thanks again…
umm… you can swap many vw motors into that golf… but some are tricky and some aren’t … some expensive and some not…
it all depends on if YOU are going to swap it or if you are going to pay someone to do it. maybe a hybrid guy will chime in…

fast and vw doesn’t go along with one another
eurospec 1.8T swap, about 5k for everything!! or do a VR6 or work with what you got and turbo it
