Setting Gauge Cluster

Hey guys… Ok so I have these gauge face plates I modified and wanted to replace the old ones with it. I have my old cluster still in there with the old faceplate’s. What I’m worried about is setting the needles back to their original position. So that when the car idles at 700rpm the gauge doesn’t say 2000, or gong down the road at 40 and it says 110 something like that my dad had this problem with his other car. Anyone know how to set the needles so that everything falls into the proper place?

I have a 91-93 kouki analog gauge.
