Gauge Cluster Problem

my fucking speedo doesn’t read the speed well, from like 0-80 km/h it just kinda stays at 40 km/h, once i get 80 km/h+ then it starts reading it, and on the way back down to 0 it reads it as speed decreases…help??? i don’t like having to guess how fast i’m going… :stuck_out_tongue:

you are not the only one, mine will just shoot up to 180 and get stuck there for a while…

all my gauges are messed up…my water one just wiggles around,
my gas one one is always on E,
my dash lights dont work…

very ghetto…

Sounds like the needle is getting stick. I experienced this when installing maurices new tac. Message me on msn and I will explain.

my friends doesn’t even change km’s any more… (display turny numbers)

low km 240 …(not really tho)

my km don’t work anymore, oh well, not like the engine is the same anymore.

as for the “needle walk” on the coolant gauge. Pop the hood, and on the intake, to the left of the PS pump, there is a red connector, and a skinny black one, disconnect these, and clean the contacts. If this doesn’t fix the problem, you need to remove the govebox and there is a white plug up there next to the heaterblower motor, the wires lead to the ecu. Disconnect and clean. Problem solved.

The speedo thing, i don’t know how to fix. just swap the cluster.

Like adam i have extra’s sitting around the house. 1 with 220k and 1 300k.

sohc so they are garbage to me.
