ShalerPunk's Scion xA

I’ve had it three weeks as of tomorrow, and it’s already at 2300 miles.

Quick rundown:

2006 Scion xA
Polar White
5-speed

I’ve already removed the “xA” badge on the hatch and put in a K&N air filter. I’ve also installed my Sirius Stiletto100. I’m looking at wheels, springs, and shocks. I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and some sort of Tokico shocks, but I haven’t decided on wheels. I’ve changed my mind a thousand times, deciding on everything from Rota AutoXs to Enkei GF1s. Below are the Rotas.

sweet my wife has an Xa it’s a little slow though. She has a auto Tranny I want to change it with a manual 5 speed though. make it more fun to drive.

wow you drive alot… i havent drove 1,000 miles yet on my car this year

BUY MY WHEELS!!!

PLEASSEEE!!!

niice rims i want them so bad i love the black and red

Hit 81000 miles today.

Bought a spare engine with 35k miles on it for $200. I figure it can sit in the basement until I need it.

I keep going back and forth on doing anything to this car, as it is my source of income, so I think I’m just going to order some Eibach Sportlines and go from there.

Every Rota is curbed. Glad they were cheap.

81000 miles and it needs a new motor already?

he bought it as a back up READ

The motor will probably sit in my basement for a few years, but I couldn’t pass it up at that price. The current motor still runs like new. I imagine a 100hp Toyota engine, maintained correctly, will go 200000+ miles.

I thought that was yours… I see it a lot in front of the pizza shop. Seems to be there most anytime I pass through that way…

With the euro style front plate right?..

those yaris motors are quite stout!

Yep. 1989 Austria plate.

103000 miles. Still no issues. Had to buy new clutch and brake pedal covers from Toyota because I’ve worn through the rubber. Grand total: $7.28

over 100k in 3 years, dam man drive less!

Dam thats pretty dam good !

u gonna buy one of those next now? haha

nahh probably getting and opel astra or another hyundai

did you trade in ur brain for a wife…come on mike wake up outta this love coma. i happy for ya bro but u gotta get ur head outta ur ass on this car stuff. an opel? seriously… talk about impractical to get parts, worked on…etc…

No harder to get parts for or do work on than any other saturn.

The next time I need a car I will not be in the States… Dont worry Bee ohh Beee I’ll still enjoy my cars but itll just be a different market to choose from.

Also the Opel insignia is almost the same car as the new buick regal just different badges.

They got some mean diesels over there with some good torque in older models. So i know ill find something fun. and this time itll have to be a stick shift !
But for our future this is a better option I’m already working on connections to get a better job when its time to move and im starting to plan now so itll be an easy transition.
