I checked all 3 4wd related fuses and theyre all good.

Nothing happens when I turn the 4wd knob- no lights, no noise.

Im not about to go probing wires and shit. I suck at electrical shit and will just make more of a problem.

Im just looking to drop it off somewhere and get it fixed at this point but its tough because people are busy and/or wont call me back (not somebody on this forum thats not calling me back) and I cant be without a vehicle to get to work everyday.

the tuner doesnt affect the 4wd at all. It has nothing to do with it and doesnt change anything 4wd related and the 4wd has worked since I put in the tuner.

there is no 2wd light.

The only thing I had done was an alignment about a month ago. I dont know if that had anything to do with it because I hadnt used the 4wd for almost a month before that.

It was around then that I started hearing the noise though.

lights are off on purpose because I dont like the glare on the screen

I bet you a 23 ounce glass of Octoberfest that the answer is in that thread somewhere. I’m going to go with that IWE sensor, specifically.

from what Ive read on F150 sites when the IWE goes bad it attempts to go into 4wd and makes a grinding noise when doing so.

Mine does nothing when trying to put it in 4wd.

There probably is some fuse that was blown or some harness that was unplugged if the lights aren’t coming on near the switch. When they aligned it they probably ground out the harness or something.

No idea but Im just going to take it somewhere and let somebody else deal with it.

I just need to find somewhere to take it that can do it in a day or two. Sucks because its a holiday weekend and Im going to LG next thursday after work so I cant be without the truck.
