Shitload of Lincoln Wheat Pennies

Since I moved my mother last weekend into her new house, she forgot these had been sitting under her bed for a number of years. I decided to see what exactly was in the strongbox. All wheat pennies ranging from 1940’s to 1960’s with a large group in the 1944 year and the 1950’s. There was also a small assortment of Buffalo head nickels and some other coins. Far as I can tell, they have very little value but I’m no expert. I know there’s someone on here from time to time that deals in coins. Any information on getting in touch with him is appreciated.

@misteroman

What he said ^^

Just came here to post the same guy.

Thanks.

Derek will know and probably make an offer to buy them even. :wink:

Thanks for the trust guys!!! From the looks they are just common dates. The light blue album is probably a 09-40 book with most of the good ones empty. If want pack them up and I can look at them in a matter of about 5 mins. And awhile back on here I did find a $100 wheat penny in a guys little bag. I believe he posted above as well.
Let me know.
D

I’ll see if I can get with you in the next week or so. Thanks.

I believe they’re like 2.5 cents a piece for melt value still.

Yeah, I’m not optimistic about the purple unicorn in that pile but would still like to check. Not like I have a Picasso sitting behind my living room couch.

Pretty sure that was me, about 5 years ago I think lol.
