my rear lower shock mounts are studs that screw into a skidplate under my leaf spring. the pass side rear keeps coming unscrewed and its dropping my shock, usually only within 10 miles or so of driving. ive tried threadlocker and it hasnt worked. rather than sending the whole assembly back and getting a new one, do i have any other options?
u try a nut with nylon insert
i cant do that because there is just enough thread to screw the stud in, then the rest is smooth metal for the rubber eyelet on the shock
so get a bigger bolt
its the bolt that came with the kit, its not too small. idk what the problem was but i put new shocks on and it hasnt come off since.
if it does it again bring it by ill make that bolt never come out again
weld it.

you could try to drill / safety wire it (might not be a bad idea in the end) but that’s masking a much bigger problem - it sounds like you’re not catching enough threads.
of course the biggest problem I see is “leaf spring”
