The timing belt snapped this morning on my 1999 rav4. It’s a non-interference engine so the valves are good.
Looking for a shop/mechanic around the city of Buffalo who can do the timing belt/water pump for a reasonable price. It not a super hard job but I don’t have the tools or a garage to do it myself. I called 2 places and was quoted $700. Looking for someone reasonable and trustworthy. Thanks

Usually as places come in cheaper they become less and less trustworthy. You get what you pay for. Swiderski and Blackforest are both great options.
if you can find someone who works on the side and know what he is doing, like who charges $25 per hours as opposed to the shops that typically run 50-60. get the parts yourself and save a few hundred.
What shops are charging 50-60?
