the way i look at it, if your gonna race your car sure beat up the 10 bolt but don’t cry when it breaks…iv known m6 bolt on cars snap 10 bolts…and iv know guys just like pewter that beat the balls off the 10 bolt and it’s just fine…it’s just a roll of the dice if you ask me…
if it’s his daily driver and can’t afford down time, then the track at this point is not for him as i see it…as he could break the 10 bolt and be SOL…
but if you are going to take the risk…just take it easy on the launches and save for a 12 bolt in the future…
btw a 12 bolt is not really heavy duty…it’s pretty much a must for your above average modded car…ie H/C or FI cars…
i got tons of ten bolts on stock!so down time will be little

it was a toss up between turbo and a H/C package…and staying na is less hastle and less expensive right now…didn’t mean to highjack the thread
