Didn’t happen.According to Google,its September 10th.

boo. Stupid delays.

When I first read this, I was like, we did jump in time!!!

I’d love to see the finances of this project. It’s gotta take about a billion jiggawatts to cool a 27km ring down to almost absolute zero, and they probably weren’t planning on energy costs spiking the way they have over the last 2 years when they started the project. I imagine their budget has been blown to hell.

Lot’s more nuclear energy in Europe?

This Sunday, August 10th.

Just wanna say…

I love you guys.

No Homo.

I can’t help but to laugh they chose a Sunday though. Cruel sense of humor

:io:

so did this fucker start

I thought it was supposed to be yesterday, but they’re actually starting Sept 10th, and wont smash anything till October

they keep putting the tip in and then telling me they dont wana … she will stop giving it up soon she thinks now im kiddin… great

lol^

“At 15:20 on Friday, a small bunch of protons was successfully kicked out of the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) using a pulsed magnet and sent down a 2.7 km-long transfer line towards the LHC. Then at 21:40, after a few hours spent optimizing the process, one bunch was kicked out of the transfer line into the LHC where ? to the surprise of many ? it travelled about 3 km until it was stopped by a screen (see image).”

?The passage of the beam first time caused some excitement in the control room, and champagne was rolled out,? machine operator Roger Bailey told physicsworld.com. ?We expected to have to thread the protons round using position detectors and local correction magnets, but now we know that the fields and polarities of several hundred superconducting magnets are pretty much okay.?

ITS BEGUN!!!

First bouncing protons, then portals, then mutant zombies. Hopefully they’re the slow, George Romero-style zombies…

Just remember, molotovs dont work for zombies, then you just have Zombies…on FIRE

FYI, Sept. 10th is the start date!

hahahaha… wow i think i learned something from that.

Jesus. ITs incredible how one can learn something from a rap video when it’s not all about bitches and hoes. lol.

This fires up Wed. the article says they will be doing test fires for ~the first month, then they will fire the beams at each other.
