This thread was created to blast me. Any of my “friends” who came in here to give jay props are indirectly putting me down. these people know who they are and they def knew what they were doing when they involved themselves in this thread.
Then don’t lose your cool and decide to rant about me. Your problem is with them.
Returny text. Since the forum can’t keep it on topic we should talk in person.
As a friend who still backs you daily im not sure why you involved me in this? I have known the both of you for many years and think you are both solid people from my experience. I am not in the middle of this feud.
All I said was plus karma… Aimed at the fact the he does good work and does not cut corners. John if you would like to hold something against me that is because of your own buisness practice. Then so be it. You already hold it against me for helping Deebo out on his new car that he had to pick up after you know what… All I did was accept a job that I’m qualified to do and hold myself to it.
I’ve never had work done by either of you, but from everything I’ve seen, you both do excellent work. Take pride in your own shit and just keep doing what your doing!
What Jay said was pretty spot on in my opinion and all I had to say was well put, because it was.
John, you can say whatever you like about me, Hybrid, Gary but if I recall we HELPED you on many occasions and never asked for anything in return. So I guess that is the thanks we get. Lesson learned.
Wow! I will most likely have you finish weld something I fab up in about a year  I’ve been tempted to buy a TIG, but I think I’ll send it your way instead!
good to hear.
buy one anyway.
knowing how to tig weld is like being the only guy that can drive 5spd in an emergency. ok, not that good. but its good…id be more than happy to show you the ropes.
I wish we could have done something too…im still catching up on projects that were on my plate from back then.
I appreciate that! I’ve been trying to get Straight Welding to take one of our CP-302 MIG machines in on trade towards one, but they are bending me over on trade value. I’ve thought long and hard about it, but have too many other purchases and expenses that take priority. Years back I MIG’d for about 2-3 years at work before moving to the office, and I was tinkering with a J&J’s Dynasty 200 when I had the last car. Definitely something I’d love to get good at, but it’s just not a purchase I see happening anytime soon.
If you know anybody that wants a Miller CP-302 with a 22A wire feed, cart, and extended grounds, let me know. It’s a very nice machine, we just have too many of them. Sorry to hijack!
