Finally got the car back from paint. Guy did the work when he wasn’t at work… sooo I got a nice paint job for cheap, I just had to wait 3X longer for it.

Trying to figure out how I want to keep the car moveable when it doesn’t have wheels on it. Either going to make a stand or weld some caster onto a cheap set of jack stands.

Next I’m going to drop the front suspension, get it cleaned up and painted. Id like to under coat the car while I’m at it. Any recommendations… thinking something in a spray can?

Build looks great! Just a thought for some added stiffness and safety might want to add base plates to the rocker and front of the rear seat near the main hoop mounts and gusset the main hoop to those as well as the B pillar. Helps a lot in heavy crashes

I agree! Its getting a gutted dash and two seats, I like to share the experience.

I gave 3 people a ride last time it was running and none of them expected what they got. I had to re install the “O-shit” handle b/c they didn’t have anything to grab …lol

so im confused as to what the dry ice is used for… do you freze the paint and then it just chips away? surely you werent trying to do this, lol -

the dry ice makes the sound deadening material brittle so its easier to remove for a better cleaner look, and less weight.

He was using the dry ice to freeze the deadening by the feet on the driver and passenger side. It comes right off using this trick.

At first the inside of the car was going to be a gray and the roll bar was going to be blk, but its all one color.
