True, definitely don’t need it. I could have bought a new set of wires for 45 or a used stock set up on EvoM for 80 to 100 bucks. I think I just like the idea of having 4 coils over 2!

Right ok haven’t gotten to this part yet… But thanks! Once I get this back together I’m sure I will need some tech support
I’m looking into installing a slim fan also. Anyone know how much the stock fan weights vs. a typical slim fan? I still haven’t found the definitive wiring “how to” either…HELP Please!
About a 100 decisions to make when buying a slim fan - Amp draw, # of blades, Fan CFM, Pusher/puller, blade material? Any advise!
I want a lighter fan that takes up less room but works just as well if not better and doesn’t draw more amps then stock. I’m also thinking a pusher rather then puller so I can mount it between the FMIC and radiator and clean up the bay!
I have a puller type slim fan in my civic, it’s just two wires that I soldered to the factory two wire plug, if that makes sense. Basically cut the plug off the old fan and soldered it to the wires of the new fan… I wish it was a pusher and wasn’t in the bay but w/evs, it came with the car.
Well yes true on a Civic… I have a civic with a slim fan also, honda’s are easy lol. The Evo has a box on the fan which has 4 wires. I think the fan has variable speeds depending on conditions but thats just from reading stuff on EvoM and like every forum its not always easy to tell whats true vs opinion. I also read that the other 2 wires are connected to the A/C fan and they some how worked together before my A/C was removed.
