A stunning conversion project in the Midtown area is for sale. Gurney Becker & Bourne is listing 1716 Main Street, a mixed-use property profiled previously on Buffalo Rising here and here. The site consists of two separate buildings. The two-story building fronting Main was constructed during the Pan-American Expo period, which includes 3,210 sq.ft. of street retail and a 4,200 sq.ft. second floor loft residence. The rear building was built thirty years later in 1930 and currently serves as an architectural workshop.

That’s awesome, glad to see something preserved for once instead of torn down or abandoned.

lol at people thinking 400000 is a lot for a nice loft.

nice place… thanks for posting.

thats how i plan on having my house, whereever i live

never had him for a prof but I’m not surprised. ub’s architecture program (in addition to being incredibly fucking time consuming) promotes artistic design/creativity

right carl?

Do you think they are selling to move on and do another one in the area?

Pretty cheap

SO BUY IT!!!

it’s decently cool… I like my lofts to be a few floors higher with a view.

$400k housing in Clarence > This loft for $400k

the front looks like shit…

Would be nice if whom ever took the pictures knew what the fuck they were doing… such shitty pictures.

Oh I like it though… IDK how i feel about the light colored wood… I prefer a nice dark wood. But I’d definitely take it

edit:Oh man… No Homo
