For those who are interested, my neighbors are moving down to East Aurora and they are selling their house on Highgate in Buffalo. If you are in the market, this house is fantastic. Everything has been maintained meticulously. One thing to note is the quality of the paint and woodwork. Among many other things the front porch has been rebuilt by the owner himself and painted very nicely. Its really beautiful work.

130k is actually a lot for a house in the city of buffalo (most areas)

I was comparing to other cities… that same house in San Diego(nice part) would be ~$1million

Its seriously a good deal for what you get.

if a similar house in SD really is ~ 1 mil (which is totally possible) then its closer to 7.5 times as much… not ~ double
