A. Travis mom is paying off the car to avoid a rapidly decreasing credit and or trouble from the bank.
B. If travis ex is the co-signer like someone mentioned, shes making payments because she co-signed and is responsible

What bothers me the most here is that Adam got roped into this and now he has to waste his time trying to fix what he can from his end.
everyone else, the bank, the cosigner, and travis all knew what they were getting into.
i know i promised to stay out of this thread back on page 2 or whatever the fuck it was but this post has me a bit perturbed.
the bank was made aware of the cars condition on SEVERAL occasions. the first one being THE DAY AFTER IT BURNED! they called my house at 9am on sept 7th because i was 14 days late on the payment. (go ahead and run with that one all im sure you will) i told them at that point in time, and i quote “i will not be making any more payments on the vehicle because it burned to the ground last night in a car fire.” they proceeded to tell me they would send an adjuster once i had a location to send them. the vehicle was towed to adams shop and i gave that information to them IN NOVEMBER!!! i have not received ANY communication from citi or a collections agency associated with them since NOVEMBER/DECEMBER timeframe. i had assumed they knew where everything was since i had told them and they had “noted it in their system.”
adam, i will say that i am personally sorry for the ball being dropped somewhere along the lines here but i can 100% assure you citi-financial was made FULLY AWARE of the cars condition in september. let me know what/where youd like the car to be brought and i can either arrange something OR can work something out with you for such. also, you have my number and i would like to speak with you. i tried calling once this morning and it went to voice mail. call me at your earliest convenience.
to the rest of you. im glad you all think you know what transpired, when, and how. the FACT is that NONE of you do. by all means you are entitled to your opinions of me and thats fine. i have no interest in associating with any of you anymore. im done and gone.

Shit like this is going on and Travis is out putting a deposit on new golf clubs. Kind of speaks for the level of person we’re dealing with here. Complete and utter disrespectful scumbag who doesn’t care how many people or institutions he doesn’t fulfill obligations to so long as he can go about his day to day, unemployed and irresponsible, life. So sad.
I wouldn’t say fucked, but again going back to my previous post this has been nothing but a waste of time for me which is worse that most anything to me. I don’t like being lied to, especially by someone whom I’ve extended my assistance, time, location, services, etc at no cost in an effort to help that person get back on their feet.
The car now has a mechanics lien on it for the bank for holding purposes. It’s not allowed to leave the grounds here until the bank sends an adjuster for the chassis and decides what will be done.
This is going by the book as of now. I’m sick of being dicked around by people. If he had just told the truth form the beginning it would never have come to this. Had I know someone was still making payments on the car I would never have allowed the chassis to reside here from the start.
