At first i thought that fucking intake setup was retarded, after seeing that it was just set up like that for the drive and it was really supercharged made it ok.

I just read the article on his trip. After running down the track he would cut the blower belt off, re-jet the carb 10 sizes, fill it with 87 octane and drive to the next track. When he got there he would but a new belt on, re-jet, drain the fuel cell, fill with c16 and go.
