Sirius/XM

I bought the car from my father in law in NY and shipped it down to Texas. No dealer involved. Just a simple private party sale.

Soo when I bought my car, it had a subscription to Sirius…6 months later and it’s still going.

GF just called to reactivate her Sirius in her Fusion, $19.99 for 5 months. She said she got a “letter” in the mail and that’s what it said, the guy bought it. So she’s paying $4 a month.

So yeah, there ya go.

I call every 6 months and say the same thing, “got a promo etter in the mail”. Been doing that for years now, full price is too much for how many stations we listen to.

I pay $100 a year plus whatever the license fee is. So under $10 a month for it. I like it and listen to about 4 or 5 stations. And my wife has a few she enjoys. It’s worth the couple dollars it costs.

Only thing that bugs be about SiriusXM is I get a ton of “extended warranty” telemarketing calls because of them. Took me a while to figure out who gave up my info but they always ask me about a 2011 Sebring which I’ve never owned, I did have a radio swapped into my patriot though and SiriusXM still refers to it as a sebring after multiple times of correcting them,

Other than that it’s still worth it at the promotional price for me. Spotify/pandora/whatever is more expensive and I really only listen to music in the car anyways. I just hate having to call every 6 months.

I love Sirus/XM Jason Ellis on faction is hilarious
