My phone has no problem staying logged in but my PC logs me out. Only recently started having this problem. My credentials are saved in the browser but I still don’t get logged in automatically.
Is it because I’m browsing from my phone too?

What browser? I think Chrome might clear cookies/sessions when closed.
I think he’s on the right track. Sounds like you turned on some security “feature” in what ever browser you’re using that is deleting your cookies on exit.

When you visit the site, do you go directly to the forums, or do you hit the frontpage first?

I use Google Chrome and have no issues unless I go directly to www.nyspeed.com. On that front page it shows me as logged out, but as soon as I enter the forums, I am auto logged in.

WTF… for whatever reason I had to clear them 2x.
I think its a vBulletin issue. I have it on a lot of forums where if i go to the portal/homepage, im not logged in but as soon as I go to the forums, im there.
