A friend of mine lives in Cheektowaga and never comes skating anymore. So a few of us are gonna pick him up tomorrow, but I don’t really feel like driving back here to skate then back there to drop him off.
He lives in the william/union area. any ledge spots around there?
There is a key bank in a plaza on union between william and walden that has these wedge shaped planter things that i used to ride on my bmx but it seemed like skaters used them as well. There was also a fun sidewalk/pad thing around the one side that was fun to manual if you are into things like that. The best thing in that area is the walden wallride but it’s not really a skate spot.
villa maria if ur nice and arent being destructive they will let u skate when i went to villa the gym stairs were my lunch breaks haha
dude…i did those stairs and handrails back in 90-94. i cant believe you guys stil hit that spot. theyre used to be a spray pool in schiller right next to it. had awesome rolling transition as you went out of the pool.we used to ollie over 55 gallon garbage drums out of it.
try the old media play on transit by regal theatre. has a great curb/ ledge that we waxed up years ago. and it goes from normal 7 inch curb height to like 2 feet high off the black top.
That place is FYE now, and with all the parking lot construction/yadayada its probably gone…
But maybe you should try the building at Union and Broadway out… The one right next to the onramp coming from William, hmm… (kidding)
Losson Park any good?
