I’ve been trying this with some friends in bidwell park, it’s really hard, and really entertaining. To me it seems like yoga extreme…
Anyway, I just got my own setup yesterday from EMS (It’s just 2 lengths of 1" climbing webbing and 5 carribeaners)… I’m excited to get into it.
Walking it is relaxing, but you can do tricks on it too…
i suppose im going to be forced to try this sooner or later…im sure ill bust my ass.

I saw vids online a while back and it looked like fun. I have no idea where I would try it though.

I can walk it pretty well forwards and OK backwards… turning around is really hard, I haven’t attempted any tricks.

Ask EVOLUTION VIII MR about that.
It’s so fun. I brought mine to work, I think I am going to try to find somewhere nearby to set it up on my lunchbreak.
i tried this at bennet beach, roughly 4 feet off the ground… i ate shit multiple times

If my center of mass is largely around my midsection, would that help or hurt?

Looks like a hell of a work out
Is it possible to be shellacking while slacklining?
I have a few questions here
Does it hurt to walk on the rope/line?
Is there a certain specified height that you set the line up at?
I’d love to give that a whirl but I just see whats left of my knee getting destroyed
all done with longboarding and moved onto another obscure activity?

It doesn’t hurt anything unless you really fall. I am pretty durable, but haven’t taken much damage from it. I’ve only fallen really hard once… sometimes the rope will slap you and brushburn you, but that’s about it.
The height can be as low as you want it, so long as it doesn’t touch the ground when you’re standing on it.
I set this up at lunch:

Fuck no. I was just out longboarding this weekend, skated from north buffalo to the marina, then ripped the parking garage a few times. I’m trying to get to allegany again this weekend…
ok, as long as ur not one of those people who changes hobbies every week, i hate people like that
Kinda tried it… I’m a bit to wobbly, lol. It looks like it will take some time to learn.
