Sleeves locally

Is there anywhere to get sleeves done locally? It’s going to be a deal breaker if i have to send it to california to get it sleeved.

buy wrayzors his is already done and don’t have to wait. his is a good deal

i’m already getting a gsr block and using forged internals.

don’t think anyone can do sleeving locally

changed my mind again, got crack money from somewhere else

but anyways no one does sleeves local because they have to be pressed in

nope

I have 2 guys i believe can sleeve… its been a while since i’ve talked to them about it. they were going to 0-ring my 3sgte as well…

some sleeves press in, some sweat in… i’d have to make a call to double check.

your better off on stock sleeves then trying to get a local shop to sleeve it

well i’m gona buy steve’s gsr block and he said it’s bored to 81.25. i have no idea where to get pistons for that and how much boost should i be able to run on that bore?

key to that is are the cyl clean or is it gong to need honed more? Anymore those cyl walls are getting pretty thin

Boost is ok up to 81.5. alot of people do it anyway just to make sure the a truly round.

people make 600+ on stock sleeves the trick is in the tune…

As far as I can mic them, they are fine…just need a hone from sitting for a while. It should be hot tanked, so they’ll check it then.

cool, well goodluck watacanga

thanks guys, i’ve learned almost everything i know from one of the three of you. it’s kyle if you were wondering

Not True.

Worthless without elaboration.

i know of iron block V8s done locally. but not too sure on honda blocks though

i’ll probably just send it to darton indiana. i think they’re like 550 or so which is alot cheaper than sending it to california.

remember that you get what ya pay for when it comes to performance don’t try to take the shortcut cuz the outcome most likely won’t be pleasant

They do not sponsor Pittspeed I don’t want to get in trouble.
