… guess we were both wrong.

anyway, the 2.4/2.0 k-series hybrid motors seem to have pretty good output, but GE and one of the piston companies said not to bore the 2.0 out all the way to a 2.4… anybody know of a stroker kit that’ll do it? or how far do you think it could be bored? if i’m not mistaken the 2.0 liter is a 84 mm bore, and it would require a 90 to make it 2.4… they say thats too much

i thought the 2.0 was 86mm bore…

RSX - 289whp - 2700lbs - 6sp manual

GTP - 240whp - 3600lbs - 4 sp auto

RSX > GTP

Kinda cocky for a dood with a leased car thats still stock??? Whats your best time at the track?

wtf you talking about leased? I didnt know you could lease 18yo cars

#1 i still have my mustang, and #2 i bought the GTP

The k20 is an 86x86 block and you could get darton sleeves done by erl but they cost more. I’d go ge. If I was still going to build my Ls I was going to send it off. I was quoted by a local shop for both ge and erl. They wanted 900 for ge and 1300 for erl. GE>*

So, the piston company said not to go X amount of over-bore? I tryed looking at GE’s site, but there wasn’t anything about maximum bore. Although, im sure they specify some type of max. Also, whatever the max is, you’ll have to make sure you can get a piston that size…if it turns out to be an off size.

86x86 is the bore stroke. If you wanted to over-bore it to a 2.4l, it would have to be taken to 94.25mm. Probably more than the block allows.

sorry thinking of someone else damn me…

Thank you

:cuddle: :bigok:

bet me! I know at least 2 local here that will do it!
I keep catching you talking all this misinformation on here
stop talking i suggest!

what place and do they warranty their work?
